- Description and Composition:
- Hyperex-SR is a combination of two drugs:
- Rabeprazole 20 mg: It belongs to a class of antisecretory compounds known as substituted benzimidazole proton-pump inhibitors. Rabeprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H+K+ ATPase at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. It does not exhibit anticholinergic or histamine H2 receptor antagonist properties.
- Domperidone 30 mg: Domperidone is a dopamine antagonist with both prokinetic (gastrokinetic) and antiemetic properties. It does not readily cross the blood-brain barrier.
- Inactive ingredients (excipients) are also present in sufficient quantities.

- Hyperex-SR is indicated for the relief of symptoms related to:
- Dyspepsia
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Nausea associated with acid peptic disorders
- Post-operative nausea and vomiting
- Chronic gastritis
- Hyperex-SR is indicated for the relief of symptoms related to:
- Dosage and Administration:
- Take one capsule of Hyperex-SR once daily or as directed by your physician.

- Mouth ulcers
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Diarrhea
- Skin rash
- Increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight

- Avoid Hyperex-SR if you are allergic to any of its components.
- Patients with severe liver impairment should use Hyperex-SR with caution, as it can further increase the risk of liver damage.
