Description
Panadol Night provides night-time relief when you experience pain, making it easier to sleep soundly. It contains two active ingredients:
- Paracetamol (500mg):
- Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) that helps alleviate aches and pains.
- It also acts as an antipyretic, reducing body temperature during fever.
- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (25mg):
- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride is an antihistamine with additional sedative properties.
- It helps relieve night-time pain, such as headaches, migraines, backaches, toothaches, and musculoskeletal pain.
- Additionally, it temporarily reduces fever and discomfort associated with colds and flu, promoting better sleep.
Format: Film-coated caplets
Dosage for Adults and Children Aged Over 16 Years:
- Take 2 tablets of Panadol Night (500mg Paracetamol + 25mg Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride) 20 minutes before bedtime with water, as required.
- Maximum 2 tablets per night.
- Not recommended for children under 16 years of age except on medical advice.
Here are the possible side effects:
- Common Side Effects:
- Nausea: Up to 34% of users may experience nausea.
- Vomiting: Up to 15% of users may experience vomiting.
- Less Common Side Effects:
- Drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness, blurred vision, or difficulty concentrating.
- Rare Side Effects (Seek medical attention if any occur):
- Bloody or black, tarry stools.
- Bloody or cloudy urine.
- Fever with or without chills (not present before treatment).
- Severe and/or sharp pain in the lower back and/or side.
- Pinpoint red spots on the skin.
- Skin rash, hives, or itching.
- Sore throat (not present before treatment).
- Sores, ulcers, or white spots on the lips or in the mouth.
- Sudden decrease in the amount of urine.
- Unusual bleeding or bruising.
- Unusual tiredness or weakness.
