Description
Indications:
Tamsudart is prescribed for men with BPH to relieve symptoms such as:
- Difficulty starting urine flow.
- Weak urine stream.
- Frequent or urgent urination (including at night).
Dosage:
- Take Tamsudart orally, usually once daily, 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
- Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include:
- Dizziness, lightheadedness, and drowsiness.
- Runny/stuffy nose.
- Sexual problems (e.g., decreased sexual interest/ability, ejaculation issues).
- Testicle pain/swelling.
- Increased breast size or breast tenderness.
Serious side effects are rare but may include fainting.
Precautions:
- Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should not handle Tamsudart due to potential skin absorption.
- It may take up to 4 weeks to notice symptom improvement.
- Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
