Description
- Indications:
- Relieves symptoms of too much stomach acid, including heartburn, stomach upset, and acid indigestion.
- Alleviates symptoms of extra gas, such as belching, bloating, and feelings of pressure or discomfort in the stomach.
- Dosage:
- Take orally, usually after meals and at bedtime as needed.
- Follow package instructions or your doctor’s guidance.
- Chewable tablets: Chew thoroughly before swallowing, then drink a full glass of water.
- Liquid form: Shake well before each dose. Measure carefully using a medication spoon/cup.
- Refrigerating the suspension may improve the flavor (do not freeze).
- Side Effects:
- Common: Nausea, constipation, diarrhea, or headache.
- Magnesium content may cause diarrhea.
- Avoid using other antacids containing only aluminum to control diarrhea.
- Precautions:
