Rulox Tab is indicated for the treatment of:
- Heartburn
- Acid indigestion
- Upset stomach
- Bloating caused by gas
- Stomach discomfort due to overeating or drinking
Dosage
- Chewable Tablets: Chew thoroughly before swallowing, then drink a full glass of water. Take as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Oral Suspension (Liquid): Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure the dose using the dosing cup provided or a medicine dose-measuring device. Take after meals and at bedtime as needed.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include:
- Constipation (due to aluminum)
- Diarrhea (more common than constipation)
- Nausea
- Headache
Serious side effects (rare) may include:
- Bone pain
- Muscle weakness
- Confusion
- Seizures
- Pale skin, feeling light-headed or short of breath, rapid heart rate
Precautions
- Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Kidney Disease: Consult your doctor if you have kidney disease.
- Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use.
- Interactions: Avoid taking other medications within 2 hours before or after taking Rulox Tab, as it can affect absorption.
- Children: Do not give to children under 12 years old without medical advice.
