Description
Indication
Advant Tablets are indicated for:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction
- Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with a history of heart attack or stroke
Dosage
The usual dosage for adults is:
- 8 mg to 16 mg once daily, taken orally with water. It can be taken with or without food.
Side Effects

- Dizziness
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Diarrhea
- Back pain
- Nausea
- Cough
Precautions
- Pregnancy: Not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
- Kidney function: Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
- Liver function: Use with caution in patients with liver disease.
- Electrolyte levels: Monitor potassium levels, as this medication can cause hyperkalemia (high potassium levels).
- Drug interactions: Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, as Advant Tablets may interact with other drugs.
