Sinufed is a combination medication used to temporarily treat cough and runny/stuffy nose (nasal congestion). It contains two active ingredients:

Guaifenesin: An expectorant that helps loosen mucus in the airways, clearing congestion and making breathing easier.
Pseudoephedrine: A decongestant that narrows blood vessels in the nose, reducing nasal congestion.

Sinufed

Description

Indications:

- Sinus and nasal congestion due to:
  - Allergic (seasonal) rhinitis
  - Vasomotor (perennial) rhinitis
  - Sinusitis
  - Common cold and flu.

Dosage:

- Take Sinufed orally with or without food, usually every 12 hours, with a full glass of water.
- Swallow the capsules whole; do not crush or chew them.
- The dosage depends on your age, medical condition, and response to treatment. Do not take more than 2 doses in a day.
Side Effects:
- Common side effects may include:
  - Trouble sleeping
  - Nausea
  - Dizziness
  - Dry mouth
- Serious side effects are rare but may occur.
Precautions:
