Marcfix 325mg Tablets

• Active Ingredients: Cefixime BP 200 mg and Clavulanic acid BP 125 mg.
• Indications: Marcfix is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections including:
  • Uncomplicated urinary tract infections, Otitis media (middle ear infection), Pharyngitis and tonsillitis, Acute bronchitis, Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and uncomplicated gonorrhoea.
• Mechanism of Action: Cefixime works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is essential for their survival.
• Microbiology: Marcfix is effective against a broad range of bacteria, including: gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
• Dosage: The dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the type and severity of the infection.
