Ivytimol Eye Drops

Indication

Ivytimol Eye Drops are used to treat glaucoma (open-angle type) and ocular hypertension.

Lowering high pressure inside the eye helps to prevent vision loss or blindness.

Dosage

• Adults and Elderly: Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily. It’s best to use them at the same time each day.
• Children: Use as directed by a doctor.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Burning or stinging in the eye
• Dry eyes or itching
• Red or puffy eyelids
• Headache

Serious side effects (though rare) may include:

• Dizziness or fainting
• Slow or irregular heartbeat
• Muscle weakness or numbness
• Chest pain or trouble breathing

Precautions

• Do not use if you have asthma, severe COPD, or certain serious heart conditions.
• Avoid contact with the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
• Wait at least 15 minutes before putting contact lenses back in after using the drops
