Description
Indication:
- Ivysolone eye drops are indicated for the treatment of eye conditions due to inflammation or injury.
- They work by relieving symptoms such as swelling, redness, and itching.
Side Effects:
While many people using this medication do not experience serious side effects, prolonged use or high doses may cause eye problems such as increased intraocular pressure (leading to glaucoma) and cataracts.
Precautions:
- Use Ivysolone eye drops as directed by your doctor (usually 2 to 4 times a day).
- Avoid wearing contact lenses while using this medication unless your doctor approves it. If you do wear contacts, wait at least 15 minutes after each dose before putting them back in.
- To apply the drops, wash your hands, tilt your head back, look upward, and pull down the lower eyelid to create a pouch. Place one drop into the pouch, close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes, and gently apply pressure near the corner of your eye to prevent drainage.
- Do not stop using Ivysolone abruptly without consulting your doctor, as some conditions may worsen if the drug is suddenly discontinued.
