Description
Embanol, which contains Salbutamol and Theophylline.
Uses:
This combination is generally used for the treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other respiratory conditions where bronchospasm (narrowing of airways) is a problem.
Salbutamol is a bronchodilator that helps relax muscles in the airways and increases airflow to the lungs.
Theophylline is also a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the lungs and chest, making it easier to breathe.
Dosage in Each Tablet:
Salbutamol Sulphate (equivalent to Salbutamol base): 2 mg
Theophylline (Anhydrous): 120 mg
Important Notes:
Should be used under medical supervision.
May cause side effects such as nausea, palpitations, or restlessness.
Not suitable for everyone, especially those with heart problems, hypertension, or seizures.
