Description
Indications:Â Efemoline is indicated for the treatment of:
- Acute and chronic non-infectious conjunctivitis and keratitis of allergic origin.
- Non-infectious inflammation of the anterior chamber of the eye, including anterior uveitis, episcleritis, and scleritis.
Dosage: The recommended dosage is 1 drop instilled into the conjunctival sac 2-4 times daily. During the initial 24 to 48 hours, the dosage may be safely increased to 1 drop every hour.
Side Effects: Possible side effects include mild eye irritation, itching, blurred vision, and potential systemic effects if absorbed.
Precautions:
- Avoid contact with the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
- Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
- If using other eye medications, wait at least 5-10 minutes before applying other products.
