Description
Acycor Plus is indicated for relief from severe pain and inflammation in Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Low back pain, Dental pain, Gynaecological pain and painful & Inflammatory conditions of ear, nose & throat.
- Dosage:
- The recommended adult dosage is one tablet of aceclofenac 100 mg and paracetamol 500 mg in the morning and one in the evening, with a maximum of two tablets per day.
- Safety and efficacy for children are not established, so it’s not recommended for them.
- Administration and Advice to Patients:
- Take Acycor Plus with food to minimize the risk of upset stomach.
- It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid activities requiring mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
- Do not take any other medication containing paracetamol without consulting a doctor.
- Contraindications and Precautions:
- Contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe renal or hepatic impairment, severe heart failure, active peptic ulcer, or GI bleeding.
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
- Use with caution in patients with various conditions (renal/hepatic impairment, alcohol dependence, asthma, etc.).
- Potential interactions with other medications (e.g., lithium, digoxin, diuretics, methotrexate).
