Description
Indication
Surex Night tablets are indicated for the treatment of pain such as headache, migraine, backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, neuralgia, toothache, or period pain. They are also used to manage insomnia, reduce anxiety and stress, adjust to shift work, minimize jet lag, and manage restlessness.
Dosage
For adults and children aged 12 years and over: Swallow 2 tablets with water, 20 minutes before you go to bed. Do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include
- Drowsiness,
- Dizziness,
- Dry mouth,
- Constipation
- Blurred vision, and
- Urinary retention.
If you experience any severe side effects or allergic reactions, such as
- Difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, lips, or throat, seek medical attention immediately.
Precautions
- Do not take Surex Night tablets if you have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol or diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
- Do not take with any other antihistamine-containing products.
- Ask your doctor before you take this medicine if you have liver or kidney disease, epilepsy, seizure disorders, stomach or gut issues, difficulty passing urine, narrow-angle glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or myasthenia gravis.
- Do not drive or operate machinery after taking Surex Night tablets.
- Do not drink alcohol while using Surex Night tablets.
