Description
Indications:
- Ferobin Syrup is used for:
- Rapid restoration of hemoglobin levels.
- Prevention of anemia.
- Supporting overall health.
Dosage:
- For women of child-bearing potential: Take 0.4 mg daily.
- For folate-deficient megaloblastic anemia:
- Initial dose: 5 mg daily for 4 months.
- In malabsorption states: Up to 15 mg daily.
Side Effects: Common side effects may include:
- GI irritation
- Abdominal pain and cramps
- Nausea and vomiting
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Dark stool and discoloration of urine
Precautions: Administer with caution in patients with:
- Iron storage or absorption diseases
- Hemoglobinopathies
