Paracetamol suppositories are a form of medication used to relieve pain and reduce fever. They contain paracetamol (acetaminophen), which works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. This form of paracetamol is administered rectally, making it useful for patients who cannot take oral medication.
