Diclofenac topical gel is used to help relieve osteoarthritis pain in joints that can benefit from treatment through the skin. These joints include those in your hands and knees.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include local skin reactions where the gel is applied. More serious side effects can involve cardiovascular and gastrointestinal risks, such as heart attack, stroke, ulcers, and bleeding.
Precautions
Before using Diclofenac Gel, it’s important to discuss with your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, ulcers, GI bleeding, liver or kidney disease, or if you’re taking other NSAIDs.
