Description

Indications:

• Coflax with Codeine is used for persistent, dry, irritating cough.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the product or its constituents.
• Individuals with hepatic or respiratory failure.

Drug Interactions:

• Alcohol and other CNS depressants may be potentiated.
• Anticholinergics’ effects may be enhanced.
• Codeine may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Warnings and Precautions:

• May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Use with caution in moderate to severe renal dysfunction.
• Avoid in narrow-angle glaucoma or symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy.

Side Effects:

• Diphenhydramine: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision.
• Codeine: Constipation, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness.
