- Codolin Expectorant is commonly used for symptoms of short-term (acute) respiratory tract infections, such as the common cold, pneumonia, or bronchitis.
- It helps relieve chest congestion by lubricating the airway passages, making it easier to cough up excess mucus.
Dosage:
- Follow your doctor’s instructions or the package label.
- Generally, adults can take 200 to 400 mg of guaifenesin every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 2,400 mg per day.
