Cenocide Tablets

Description

Indications:

Cenocide Tablets are used to treat:

• Lymphatic Filariasis: Caused by Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, and Brugia timori, leading to severe swelling of the arms, legs, or genitals.
• Loiasis: A worm infection of the eyes caused by Loa loa, transmitted through the bite of a deer fly or mango fly.
• Toxocariasis: A worm infection that may cause rheumatic, neurologic, and asthmatic symptoms, and rarely blindness.

Dosage:

The dosage of Cenocide Tablets varies based on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the medication. It is typically taken after meals.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Loss of appetite

Serious side effects can include:

• Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing)
• Vision changes

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have any allergies, medical history of liver disease, or kidney disease.
• Use with caution in elderly patients as they may be more sensitive to the side effects.
