Benylin Infant’s Cough Syrup

Description

Indication:

• It helps relieve discomfort associated with coughing by smothing the throat and reducing irritation in the breathing passages.

Dosage:

• Children aged 3 months to 1 year: One 5ml spoonful.
• Children aged 1-5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls.
• Administer 3-4 times within 24 hours, as needed.

Side Effects:

• Slight drowsiness/dizziness may occur.
• Rarely, severe drowsiness/dizziness may happen with normal doses.
• Seek immediate medical attention if any serious allergic reactions occur ( such as rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness or trouble breathing.

Precautions:

• Do not use in children under 3 months.
• Use caution when driving, as it may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
