Description

Ornilox Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Ofloxacin and ornidazole. It is a prescription medicine used to treat diarrhoea caused by bacteria and parasites (micro-organisms that live in other’s bodies and use their nutrients to reproduce) in adults. Ornilox Tablet works by killing the bacteria and parasite by blocking their reproduction process. Ornilox Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache and stomach pain. Usually, these side effects are self-resolving. Avoid driving and operating machines after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Ornilox Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age.

Ornilox Tablet is an oral medication, that should be taken with food for better absorption. Take this medicine at the prescribed time to maintain its steady levels in your body. Avoid taking this medicine more than the prescribed dose as an overdose may harm you. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of the treatment even if you feel better after taking a few doses. Ornilox Tablet cautiously if you are having tendon rupture (injuries), brain or kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Avoid consuming alcohol after taking this medicine as it may worsen drowsiness.
