Description
- Clinical Pharmacology:
- Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal with broad-spectrum activity against yeasts (including Candida albicans), dermatophytes, and other fungi.
- Clindamycin is an antibiotic effective against Gram-positive aerobes and anaerobic bacteria associated with bacterial vaginosis.
- Indications:
- Mycoten Plus is indicated for the treatment of:
- Infective leucorrhea (thick, whitish vaginal discharge)
- Mixed infections
- Non-specific vaginitis
- Vaginal candidiasis
- Bacterial vaginosis
- Mycoten Plus is indicated for the treatment of:
- Dosage:
- Cream: Apply to the affected area 2-3 times a day.
- Tablets: Insert as directed. Little systemic absorption occurs after vaginal administration.
