Description
Indication:
- It’s indicated for congestion due to conditions like the common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, and allergies.
Side Effects:
- Common side effects include mild burning or stinging of the nose, sneezing, or a runny nose. Serious side effects are rare but may include chest pain, fast heart rate, severe headache, or anxiety. Seek medical help if you experience an allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling).
Dosage:
- For adults and children 6 years and older, use 2 or 3 sprays (0.05% solution) in each nostril every 10 to 12 hours.
Precautions:
- Avoid using oxymetazoline nasal if you’re allergic to it. Consult your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorder, or enlarged prostate.
