Indication:
Reatin-A is indicated for:
- Treatment of acne vulgaris where comedones, papules, and pustules predominate.
- Treatment of hyperpigmentation, roughness, and fine wrinkling of photodamaged skin due to chronic sun exposure.
- Management of keratinization disorders such as ichthyosis and keratosis follicularis.
Dosage
The dosage of Reatin-A cream should be as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Generally, it is applied to the affected area once a day, preferably in the evening or as directed by a doctor.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Reatin-A cream include:
- Burning, itching, stinging, scaling, or redness of the skin.
- Chapping or slight peeling of the skin (mild).
- Darkening or lightening of the skin.
- Unusual dryness of skin (mild).
Precautions
- Avoid exposure to sunlight or UV rays, as Tretinoin can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight and cause sunburn.
- Pregnant women should not use Reatin-A cream as it can cause birth defects.
